Carl Eickhorn
Long – Double- Etch – Military Citation – Stuggart
The obverse etch is Carl Eickhorn’s #3220 (Crossed Rifles) consisting of a pair of crossed rifles within a Wreath at the tip end, the Remembrance Motto centered and a closed winged National Eagle closest to the ricasso. See pictures. The reverse cites military service in Infanterie Regiment#119 Stuggart (Infantry Service in Regiment Nr. 119 – Stuggart). One of the many Regiments stationed around that very important travel hub.
Condition: The condition of this bayonet is absolutely MINT. All plating is present and the blade has a deep acid etch on both sides any collector would be proud to display this terrific double-etched Scarce to find example.
