NEWI have been collecting etched dress bayonets for over 55 years and this Pack Oval depicting what I believe to be a Field Howitzer is the FIRST and ONLY one I have ever seen!!  I now offer it to any advanced etched bayonet collector.

As seen in the pictures the Remembrance Motto in a Gothic fontis depicted left of the Oval, Blued Howitzer/Artillery image.  And a beautiful image it is too!  E. Pack all the way.  As these types of Field Guns were in the responsibility of the Luftwaffe a Mint Luftwaffe Frog is included.  See pictures.

This example is apparently in the series of Pack’s last pattern types (Oval).  Featured in my Revised Edition are other Oval patterns such as the Bugler, Anti-Tank Artillery, Pioniere, C31 Aircraft and others.  Now the large artillery image will be included.  Very few of this pattern were produced (perhaps one or two) so are rarely seen or found today even for advanced collectors.  As mentioned, this is probably the last time I might own one (or make this offer).

Condition:
The overall condition of this example is in my opinion Mint minus as a very slight bit of ”Edging” can be hardly noticed. This does not detract at all from the etch image.  No missing plating from Blade or Hilt area.  Absolutely Mint.
